Lead Developer / Technical Architect (AWS, PHP, JavaScript, Backend Systems) We are looking for an experienced Lead Developer / Technical Architect who can take full ownership of our technology infrastructure, development environment, and backend systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and managing our cloud infrastructure, developing scalable web applications, and ensuring smooth backend functionality across our platforms. This role requires someone who can architect systems, write production-level code, and manage server infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Cloud & Infrastructure • Deploy and manage AWS infrastructure including EC2 instances, networking, storage, and security. • Build and configure secure development and production environments. • Optimize servers for performance, security, and scalability. • Manage backups, monitoring, and system reliability. • Configure load balancing, firewalls, and auto-scaling when required. Backend Development • Develop and maintain backend systems using PHP. • Build and manage APIs for internal and external integrations. • Design scalable database architecture (MySQL/PostgreSQL). • Ensure code quality, security, and performance optimization. Frontend & Web Functionality • Develop and maintain website functionality using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. • Implement interactive UI components and dynamic features. • Integrate frontend with backend APIs. Website & Platform Management • Manage full website backend and functionality. • Maintain CMS systems, custom platforms, or internal dashboards. • Debug technical issues and ensure uptime and performance. • Implement automation where needed. Security & Best Practices • Ensure application security, server hardening, and secure coding practices. • Implement authentication systems and access controls. • Maintain documentation of infrastructure and systems. Technical Leadership • Take ownership of system architecture and technical decisions. • Guide development standards and best practices. • Work closely with management to build scalable technology solutions.
