Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and
tech-savvy Technical Support Executive to provide remote and/or onsite
assistance for antivirus activation, printer installation, and troubleshooting.
The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, effective
communication abilities, and a customer-first mindset.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Antivirus Support:
- Guide users through the activation and configuration
of antivirus software (e.g., Norton, McAfee, Kaspersky, etc.)
- Assist with license key activation, renewals, and user
account setup.
- Resolve issues related to virus detection, removal,
and quarantine.
- Printer Installation & Troubleshooting:
- Install and configure printers (wired, wireless,
network) for Windows and macOS environments.
- Troubleshoot common printer issues such as
connectivity, driver errors, spooler problems, and print quality.
- Assist with scanner setup and multifunction device
configurations.
- General Tech Support:
- Handle inbound support queries via phone, email, or
remote access tools.
- Maintain records of customer interactions and
technical issues in ticketing systems.
- Provide clear, step-by-step instructions to
non-technical users.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows/macOS),
antivirus software, and printer hardware.
- Familiarity with remote support tools (e.g.,
TeamViewer, AnyDesk).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues logically and
efficiently.
- Flexibility to work in rotational shifts (if required).
Preferred
Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related
field.
- Certification in IT Support or Networking (e.g.,
CompTIA A+, MCP) is a plus.
- Experience with multiple printer brands (HP, Canon,
Epson, Brother, etc.)
