Asst Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for an Assistant Manager – Operations & Logistics to manage day-to-day stock movement, dispatch, billing, client coordination, sales team coordination, and outstanding collections. The role requires strong follow-up, communication, and operational management skills. Similar roles typically combine dispatch planning, billing accuracy, stock control, and coordination with customers and sales teamsKey Responsibilities:

• Manage logistics, stock handling and daily dispatch operations.
• Coordinate with transporters and ensure timely delivery of stocks.
• Handle billing, invoicing, credit/debit notes and related documentation.
• Coordinate with clients and salesmen regarding orders, deliveries and stock requirements.
• Monitor daily stock availability and dispatch requirements.
• Follow up with clients and sales team for market outstanding / pending payments.
• Maintain proper records of billing, dispatch, stock and outstanding collections.
• Resolve customer issues related to billing, stock and delivery.
• Prepare daily/weekly MIS reports for management.
• Coordinate with Accounts, Sales, Warehouse and Logistics teams.
• Ensure timely closure of pending orders, deliveries and payment follow-ups.

• Required Skills:

  • Good knowledge of MS Excel and billing software/ERP.
  • Strong communication and client-handling skills.
  • Good knowledge of logistics, dispatch and stock management.
  • Strong follow-up and collection skills.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and work under deadlines.
  • FMCG / Ice Cream / Distribution experience will be preferred.
