Job Overview
We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer – L1 to provide onsite technical support to end users in Bangalore.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in desktop and laptop troubleshooting, hardware and software support, installation and configuration, network connectivity, and peripheral troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide L1 desktop and onsite IT support to end users.
• Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues.
• Support desktop and laptop break-fix activities.
• Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities.
• Install, configure, and set up desktop and laptop systems.
• Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues.
• Support printers, monitors, keyboards, docking stations, and other peripherals.
• Log, track, and update incidents through the IT service management system.
• Escalate unresolved technical issues to the appropriate support team.
• Provide professional and customer-focused support.
Required Qualifications
• Experience in IT Support, Desktop Support, Field Support, or L1 Support.
• Good hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with desktop/laptop installation and configuration.
• Basic knowledge of networking and peripherals.
• Good customer-facing communication skills.
• Relevant IT certifications are an advantage.
• Immediate or short-notice availability preferred.
Compensation
₹3.2 LPA – ₹3.5 LPA, depending on relevant experience and technical skills.
