Production Manager in Jamnagar

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Production Head to lead and manage end-to-end manufacturing operations for bathroom fittings and sanitaryware products. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in production planning, manpower management, process control, quality coordination, and achieving production targets while maintaining cost and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and monitor daily, weekly and monthly production as per targets.
• Handle end-to-end production activities for bathroom fittings / faucets / CP fittings.
• Manage manufacturing processes such as casting, machining, grinding, polishing, buffing, plating, assembly and finishing, as applicable.
• Ensure production schedules are achieved within defined quality, quantity and delivery timelines.
• Monitor production efficiency, rejection, rework, wastage and machine utilization.
• Manage production manpower, shift planning and workforce allocation.
• Coordinate with PPC, Purchase, Quality, Maintenance, Stores and Dispatch teams.
• Ensure availability of required raw materials, components, tools and consumables for uninterrupted production.
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain proper production reports, MIS, daily production records and performance data.
• Control production costs and minimize material and process wastage.
• Ensure machines, equipment and production lines are properly utilized and maintained.
• Work closely with the Quality team to maintain product specifications and quality standards.
• Implement process improvements to increase productivity, efficiency and output.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety standards and production procedures.
• Train, guide and monitor production supervisors, operators and workers.
• Handle production-related issues and take timely corrective and preventive actions.
• Drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality, cost and delivery (QCD).

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of bathroom fittings / faucet manufacturing processes.
• Experience in Brass / CP fittings manufacturing will be preferred.
• Good understanding of casting, CNC/conventional machining, grinding, polishing, buffing, electroplating, assembly and finishing processes.
• Strong manpower and shop-floor management skills.
• Good knowledge of production planning and control.
• Ability to monitor rejection, rework, wastage and productivity.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Good knowledge of Excel, MIS and production reporting.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work under production targets and deadlines.
