We are a Saudi Arabia-based procurement and contracting organization supporting major projects across construction, infrastructure, industrial, oil & gas, utilities, and manufacturing sectors. We source technical materials and equipment globally from OEMs, authorized distributors, and manufacturers. We are seeking a highly motivated Procurement Buyer to support our sourcing and RFQ activities remotely. Key Responsibilities Receive RFQs and material inquiries from our procurement team. Identify manufacturers, authorized distributors, and suppliers worldwide. Prepare and send RFQs to vendors. Follow up with suppliers to obtain quotations, technical data sheets, lead times, and compliance documents. Compare quotations and prepare commercial comparison sheets. Source industrial, electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, safety, and construction materials. Maintain supplier database and sourcing records. Coordinate with internal procurement and business development teams. Support urgent sourcing requirements and project procurement activities. Typical Materials to Source Electrical components (ABB, Siemens, Schneider, Eaton, etc.) Instrumentation and control systems Industrial valves and pumps Motors, gearboxes, bearings, and mechanical equipment Safety equipment (SCBA, Draeger, Scott, Honeywell, etc.) HVAC materials Steel, piping, fittings, and flanges Construction and MEP materials OEM spare parts Oil & Gas and refinery maintenance materials Required Skills Minimum 2 years experience in procurement, sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain. Excellent internet research and supplier identification skills. Experience dealing with international suppliers. Strong email communication and follow-up abilities. Good understanding of industrial and engineering materials. Ability to interpret technical descriptions and part numbers. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. Good spoken and written English. Preferred Experience in Oil & Gas procurement. Experience with OEM spare parts sourcing. Familiarity with international suppliers in USA, Europe, Middle East, India, and China. Experience using ERP systems, SAP, Oracle, Odoo, or similar platforms. Compensation Structure This is a long-term opportunity with a performance-oriented compensation model: Fixed Monthly Settlement Monthly retainer/fixed compensation based on experience and agreed workload. Performance Incentive Additional profit-sharing commission for successfully sourced opportunities that result in confirmed Purchase Orders and completed commercial transactions. This structure allows the candidate to benefit directly from the growth and success of the business. Candidate Profile We are looking for someone who: Is proactive and persistent in supplier follow-up. Can independently locate hard-to-find industrial spare parts. Understands urgency in procurement activities. Is comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision. Thinks commercially and contributes to winning business opportunities.
