Key Responsibilities • Deliver interactive lectures, laboratory sessions, and tutorial classes aligned with academic course curricula. • Develop lesson plans, study materials, practical assignment frameworks, and digital course resources. • Mentor undergraduate students through research projects, industry internships, and career guidance. • Conduct periodic student assessments, evaluate examination papers, and maintain academic records. • Organize technical workshops, guest lectures, student symposiums, and institutional co-curricular events. • Participate actively in departmental academic councils, syllabus reviews, and university accreditation audits. Required Skills and Qualifications • Master’s Degree (M.Tech / M.Sc / M.A / MBA) or Ph.D. in the relevant discipline. • Demonstrated teaching or lecturing experience at reputed universities, degree colleges, or maritime institutions. • Strong command over verbal explanation, pedagogical methods, and modern digital classroom tools. • Commitment to academic excellence, continuous learning, and student welfare. • High level of professionalism and positive faculty leadership. Preferred Candidate Profile • Candidates with UGC-NET, GATE, or Ph.D. credentials are highly preferred. • Candidates willing to commute to the campus at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
