1. Job Summary

The IT Executive will manage and support day-to-day IT operations, including computer systems, hardware, software, network connectivity, Wi-Fi, operational applications and technical support. The role will ensure reliable IT services for staff and departments, troubleshoot technical issues, maintain IT assets, support POS and management systems, and maintain accurate IT records.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support to employees, departments and operational teams.

• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot computers, laptops, printers, scanners and other IT equipment.

• Monitor and maintain network connectivity, Wi-Fi, internet services and related systems.

• Provide technical support for management systems, billing/POS systems and other operational software.

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network and connectivity-related issues.

• Perform basic system configuration, software installation, updates and routine maintenance.

• Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers for repairs, maintenance and technical support when required.

• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, equipment, repairs, service calls and maintenance activities.

• Assist with data backup procedures and basic system security activities.

• Support departments during system-related issues to minimise operational downtime and disruption.

• Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate vendor, service provider or senior technical resource.

• Submit daily or periodic IT support, maintenance and incident reports.

3. Qualification

• A graduate in computer science, information technology or a related discipline is preferred.

• An ITI or Diploma in Computer/IT may be considered.

• Relevant technical certifications or practical IT support training will be an added advantage.

4. Experience

1–2 years of relevant experience in IT support, hardware/network support, system administration, helpdesk support or a similar role.

6. Required Skills

• Basic computer hardware and software troubleshooting knowledge.

• Basic networking, Wi-Fi, internet and connectivity troubleshooting skills.

• Working knowledge of POS and billing systems.

• Basic knowledge of Windows systems, peripherals and common office applications.

• Basic understanding of data backup, access control and system security practices.

• Problem-solving and fault-diagnosis ability.

• Good communication, coordination and vendor-management skills.

• Basic MS Office knowledge, including Word, Excel and email.

7. Key Performance Expectations

• Timely resolution of employee and operational IT support requests.

• Reliable functioning of computers, network, Wi-Fi and critical IT equipment.

• Accurate maintenance of IT asset, repair and service records.

• Effective coordination with external IT vendors and service providers.

• Regular completion of preventive maintenance and backup activities.

• Quick response to system issues affecting billing, POS or operational activities.

• Compliance with basic IT security, backup and equipment-handling procedures.
