Software Sales Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements and map them to appropriate software solutions.
• Work closely with the Sales and Business Development teams to support sales closures.
• Conduct software/product demonstrations and presentations for clients.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, presentations, RFP/RFI responses, and solution documents.
• Explain product features, benefits, functionality, and technical capabilities to clients.
• Coordinate with technical/product teams to develop customized solutions.
• Participate in client meetings, requirement-gathering sessions, and solution discussions.
• Handle client queries and provide appropriate pre-sales support.
• Assist the sales team throughout the complete sales cycle.
• Maintain documentation of client requirements, proposals, demos, and follow-ups.

Required Skills

• 1-2 years of relevant Software Pre-Sales / IT Pre-Sales experience.
• Strong understanding of software products and IT solutions.
• Experience in B2B software sales support and client presentations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and requirement-gathering abilities.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM tools.
• Experience with SaaS, ERP, CRM, HRMS, cloud solutions, or enterprise software will be preferred.
• Ability to understand technical concepts and explain them clearly to non-technical clients.
