Job Title: Wherehouse Location: Dankuni, Bally, West Bengal Salary: ₹1,00,000 - ₹2,00,000 P.A. Industry / Category: Logistics & Warehousing Employment Type: Full-Time Work Setup: On-site / Standard Workplace Job Overview Amazon is hiring active and dedicated Wherehouse personnel for our fulfillment center and logistics hub in Dankuni, Bally, West Bengal. You will execute crucial operations including order picking, barcode scanning, packing, parcel sorting, and inventory dispatch to ensure swift customer deliveries. Key Responsibilities • Receive inbound consignments, verify package labels, and unload shipments safely into warehouse docks. • Pick products accurately from warehouse storage racks using handheld RF barcode scanners and digital pick-lists. • Inspect picked items for quality, verify barcodes, and pack securely according to transit safety packaging standards. • Sort parcels according to pincodes and dispatch routes for outbound courier fleet loading. • Maintain an accurate record of inventory movement and report discrepancies or damaged cartons immediately. • Strictly adhere to warehouse workplace safety guidelines, pallet handling rules, and 5S housekeeping standards. Required Skills and Qualifications • Minimum 10th pass, 12th pass, or Graduate in any discipline. • Freshers and experienced warehouse associates / loaders / packers / delivery riders are welcome to apply. • Comfortable using handheld barcode scanners, smartphone logistics apps, and digital tracking tools. • Physical stamina required for standing, moving across warehouse aisles, and handling parcel loads up to 15 kg. • Basic reading ability in English and local languages to verify product shipping labels. Preferred Candidate Profile • Candidates requiring company bus transport from nearby railway stations and pickup points. • Ready to work in rotational day/night warehouse shifts with scheduled weekly off-days.
