As a Threat Intelligence Analyst Trainee, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our enterprise financial infrastructure, application networks, and cloud environments from sophisticated global cyber threats.

This role is designed as a fast-tracked engineering pathway. You will work alongside seasoned cybersecurity specialists to monitor global threat landscapes, decode adversary tactics, and transform raw threat feeds into actionable corporate defenses. We provide enterprise-level training on industry-standard SIEM platforms, intelligence frameworks, and malware analysis labs.

💰 Salary & Compensation

·         Monthly Take-Home: ₹70,000 to ₹1,00,000 per month (Commensurate with performance in the cybersecurity assessment)

·         Annual CTC: ₹8,40,000 to ₹12,00,000 P.A. + Performance Bonuses + Premium Corporate Medical Coverage

🎯 Key Responsibilities

1. Security Monitoring & Threat Sourcing

·         Collect and aggregate raw cyber threat data from diverse vectors including Open Source Intelligence (OSINT), dark web monitoring utilities, commercial threat feeds, and internal security logs.

·         Monitor organizational networks, endpoints, and cloud infrastructures for potential indicators of compromise (IOCs) or anomalies.

·         Track global advanced persistent threat (APT) campaigns, detailing their shifting operational models and preferred vectors.

2. Intelligence Analysis & Triage

·         Map newly discovered threats against standardized security frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK and the Cyber Kill Chain to understand hacker behaviors.

·         Perform basic static and dynamic analysis on suspicious files, links, and phishing emails to determine underlying malicious intent.

·         Filter out false positives from incoming security alerts, ensuring high-fidelity threat indicators are prioritized for immediate response.

3. Countermeasure Deployment & Collaboration

·         Format validated IOCs into machine-readable threat intelligence structures like STIX/TAXII to integrate seamlessly into internal firewalls, EDR, and SIEM platforms.

·         Assist the Security Operations Center (SOC) and Incident Response (IR) units during active cyber incidents by delivering contextual intelligence on targeted exploits.

4. Vulnerability Tracking & Advisory Reporting

·         Maintain a live log of newly disclosed Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) relevant to our tech stack and issue critical defense alerts.

·         Draft clean, comprehensive daily and weekly threat advisories for cross-functional engineering leads detailing immediate preventative updates.

🎓 Qualifications & Skills Required

·         Education: B.E. / B.Tech (Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security), MCA, M.Sc (Cyber Security / Computer Science), or allied advanced IT degree holders.

·         Networking & OS Basics: Strong conceptual understanding of TCP/IP layers, routing protocols, DNS architecture, Linux commands, and Windows system internals.

·         Security Literacy: Baseline knowledge of common exploit categories (SQL injection, XSS, Ransomware, Brute-force) and fundamental cryptographic principles.

·         Tools Exposure (Plus but not mandatory): Basic familiarity with packet analyzers (Wireshark), vulnerability scanners (Nessus), or open-source threat tools (MISP, AlienVault OTX).

·         Certifications (Highly preferred): Completed coursework or certifications like CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), CompTIA Security+, or specialized Cyber Threat Intelligence pathways.

·         Aptitude: High deductive capability, exceptional research skills, and the mental resilience to parse intricate data patterns under tight operational windows.
