Job Summary

Jindal India Power Ltd. is looking for an experienced and commercially driven DGM/GM – Power Sales & Regulatory (Operations) to lead Power Sales and Regulatory Affairs for its 1200 MW Coal-Based Thermal Power Plant located in Angul, Odisha. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), Energy Billing, Energy Scheduling, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial Operations, and Stakeholder Management within the power generation sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Power Sales and Regulatory Affairs for thermal power operations.
• Manage Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) and commercial negotiations.
• Handle Energy Billing, settlements, and revenue reconciliation.
• Coordinate Energy Scheduling with Load Dispatch Centres.
• Resolve commercial disputes with DISCOMs and power utilities.
• Ensure compliance with CERC, SERC, GRID, and Electricity Act regulations.
• Prepare operational MIS reports, commercial reports, and management dashboards.
• Coordinate with regulatory authorities, government agencies, and DISCOMs.
• Monitor regulatory changes impacting power trading and generation.
• Support strategic planning to maximize plant revenue and operational efficiency.

• Strong expertise in Power Sales, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial Operations, and PPA Management.
