Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated, analytically sharp Junior Investment Banking Analyst to join our financial operations and corporate advisory support team in Gurgaon. This entry-level role is tailored for freshers who are passionate about corporate finance, market research, and investment analytics. You will work alongside senior investment bankers to support deal execution, financial modeling, and operational due diligence.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Data Analysis: Support the team in gathering, cleaning, and analyzing corporate financial statements and macroeconomic datasets.
• Market & Industry Research: Conduct extensive secondary research to perform competitive benchmarking, market sizing, and industry trend analysis.
• Pitch Book Preparation: Assist in drafting high-quality presentation decks, company profiles, and newsletters for client pitches.
• Valuation Support: Help build and maintain basic financial models, including comparable company analysis (Trading Comps) and asset tracking.
• Data Room Management: Organize and manage virtual data rooms (VDR) to facilitate smooth transaction due diligence processes.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Freshers (Class of 2025 / 2026) with strong fundamental knowledge of accounting principles and corporate finance.
• Education: B.Com (Hons), BBA (Finance), Bachelor's in Economics, BA (Finance), or introductory CFA/FRM candidates.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial functions, formulas, formatting) and PowerPoint is mandatory.
• Core Competencies: Clear understanding of the three financial statements, valuation concepts, and global capital markets.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with close attention to detail.
