Operations Manager (Engineering Background) in Kagal

We are seeking a highly disciplined and experienced Operations Manager with an Ex-Defence or Engineering background to oversee end-to-end operations and logistics for our Alcobev business. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, process control, logistics expertise, and operational discipline to ensure smooth day-to-day operations across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operational activities across production, supply chain, and vendor coordination.
• Manage operations to ensure smooth and efficient execution.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless operational execution.
• Ensure adherence to company SOPs and operational processes.
• Implement operational discipline, reporting structures, and process efficiency improvements.
• Handle crisis management, contingency planning, and operational problem-solving.
• Maintain documentation, MIS reports, and operational records.
• Supervise and train support staff, ensuring discipline, accountability, and high performance.
• Support management in driving operational excellence and continuous process improvement.
  
  

  Candidate Profile:

  • Retired Defence personnel (JCO/Senior NCO/Officer level preferred) or candidates with a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or a related Engineering discipline.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in operations, manufacturing, administration, or a similar operational role.
  • Strong understanding of process-driven operations, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Ability to work independently and take complete ownership of operations.
  • High integrity, strong leadership skills, discipline, and accountability.
  • Prior experience in FMCG, beverage, manufacturing, or logistics-intensive environments will be an added advantage.
