Job Summary

Hiring Alert! Kona Software Solutions is actively seeking a highly analytical, strategic, and technically elite Senior Data Engineer to design, scale, and optimize our next-generation data frameworks. This is a 100% remote (Work from Home) position, with core alignment out of our Noida tech ecosystem.

The ideal candidate must be a subject matter expert in Microsoft Fabric, seamlessly bridging the gap between large-scale data lakehouse engineering and cutting-edge AI/ML models. We are prioritizing candidates eligible to work on a W2 basis (EAD, Green Card, or US Citizenship). Core Responsibilities

• Data Architecture & Microsoft Fabric: Architect, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade data lakehouses, data pipelines, and warehouses utilizing the end-to-end Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.
• AI/ML Infrastructure Integration: Build and maintain scalable infrastructure to deploy, monitor, and train Machine Learning models, integrating data engineering architectures seamlessly with AI/ML workflows.
• ETL/ELT Engineering: Design highly optimized distributed data integration pipelines (using Synapse Pipelines, Data Factory, Spark, or Python) to ingest structured and unstructured datasets.
• Performance Tuning & Optimization: Conduct deep analytics profiling, database tuning, partitioned storage architecture optimization, and cost-efficiency auditing across data platforms.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Data Science and AI product divisions to supply highly structured, low-latency data arrays ready for production modeling.

Technical Skills Required

• Core Framework: Comprehensive execution mastery inside Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Synapse Data Engineering, Synapse Data Science, and Data Factory).
• AI/ML Lifecycle: Strong operational knowledge of AI/ML engineering principles, ML pipelines, automated model tracking, and framework deployments (Azure ML, MLflow, or similar).
• Data Engineering Stack: Advanced proficiency in Apache Spark, PySpark, SQL, Python, and delta lake patterns.
• Tax Status Alignment: Fully compliant and verified documentation to operate seamlessly on W2 parameters (Valid EAD, GC, or Citizen status).

Qualifications & Attributes

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a matching practical analytical specialization.
• 6+ years of dedicated, hands-on senior data engineering history with explicit cloud-scale deliveries.
• Highly disciplined, proactive, and capable of collaborating independently across global cross-functional technical teams.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication traits to articulate complex technical roadmaps clearly.
